Last week we were invited down to Lancaster University’s (relatively new) Engineering Building by Lancaster E-Racing for the unveiling event of this years Formula Student entry to be raced at Silverstone on the 19-21 July 2019. We would like to with the team the best of luck and hope this years design does well at the competition against many other international teams !!! It’s been a pleasure to sponsor and provide technical support to the team again along with other local tech companies such as Forsberg Services, and we are looking forward to seeing some good results from this year’s entry and hopefully progression up the FSE world ranking tables.
An interesting area to note is the continuation of the AI car category this year which allows students to develop an AI car or just the software on a reference car. With such a great challenge, we are hoping that the students at Lancaster will continue to push the boundaries of technology, hopefully allowing further collaboration with Milliamp in the future.
